On the other hand, we see that Fry joined a secret society and tried to put stop on Dark Ones, the mysteries species, who are aimed to destroy everything in Universe. Futurama: Into The Wild Green Yonder made its broadcast premiere on Comedy Central on August 30, 2009. It won 2009 Annie Award for Best Home Entertainment Production. Christopher Tyng provided the music for the movie.

If you ask me about the reception, then, I would say that the movie has mixed reviews. It received grade B from Alynda Wheat of Entertainment Weekly. Now, all fans of Futurama are waiting for the next episodes of Futurama.

Here goes interesting news for the fans of Philip J. Fry! The wait is all over!

A workplace sitcom all set in Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company, Futurama revolves around Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy.

Futurama started its journey on March 28, 1999 with the episode entitled Space Pilot 3000. Since then, the show has been running tremendously. It has completed five successful seasons and the creators have announced the sixth season of the show.

Futurama will return with its sixth season on June 10, 2010. The opening episode of the show is gonna be entitled Rebirth. There will be 13 episodes during the whole run of the season. Also, the network will be changed. Since it premiere, Futurama has been running on Fox Network. But with the beginning of this season. Futurama will switch to Comedy Central Network. Not the sixth season only, the creators have also announced the seventh season of the show. It will hit the TV screens after the end of sixth season and would be consisting of 13 episodes.

These pizza delivery boys….wearing a cap and holding the pizza tray in one hand!

Futurama used the same concept and made its central character a pizza delivery boy named Philip J. Fry. He’s the central character of this popular animated series. We see him more like a dim-witted and immature guy.

In the beginning of the show, he falls into a cryogenic pod. This accident leads him to future and he lands on New Year’s Eve 2999.  While at there, he meets his relative and starts working as a cargo delivery boy at Planet Express.  The character of Philip J. Fry is voiced by Billy West. When the topic of discussion is the most loved animated characters, Philip J. Fry’s name always hits one’s mind. Fry’s best buddy on Futurama is Bender and he also has old brother named Yancy. Fry always thinks that Yancy has taken his everything so the siblings always have a conflict. Fry has set his eyes on Leela. The guy has not enough intelligence to express his feelings to his ladylove therefore, Fry’s love remains cold for sometime.  Leela lets him know about her love for him in the movie named ‘Into the Wild Green Yonder’. In the end of this movie, Philip and Leela share a passionate kiss.
